The RODE NTG-2 is a lightweight condenser shotgun microphone designed for professional use in film, video, television and broadcast. With a full frequency response, low 18 dBA self-noise and excellent audio transparency, it delivers clear, detailed sound for applications such as filmmaking, voice-over and streaming. Its 280 mm body and supercardioid polar pattern provide focused front-facing pickup while reducing side noise, and a balanced XLR output allows for longer cable runs in professional setups.

Ideal for boom use, the NTG-2 includes a mic clip for stand or boom-pole mounting. A foam windscreen is supplied to minimise wind and ambient noise, with optional shock mount and windshield systems available for enhanced vibration and wind protection.
